A golf cart or golf buggy is a tiny vehicle intended originally to carry two golfers and their golf clubs about a golf course with not as much effort than the conventional method of walking. Initially golf cars were electrically powered and were in much use. The electric golf carts have been used since at least 1951.The early innovator of the electric golf cart was Merle Williams of Long Beach, California. He started with the small information gained from production of electric cars due to World War II gasoline rationing. In 1951 Merle Williams Marketeer Company then started production of an electric golf car in Redlands, California. There were two other additional companies who began production of electric golf carts.  In 1954 LEKTRO and E-Z-GO began production. In 1955 Cushman began production. In 1958 Club Car was made. In 1961 Taylor-Dunn started production. In 1963 Harley-Davidson started the production.
