Ez Go Golf Carts

The anti-theft device equipped with in the golf cart locks the brake handle when it is in depressed position. This device contains one solenoid member (connected over the floorboard) having an extrudable shaft and a wedge. This wedge is cabled into the on-off button electrical circuit of the keyed vehicle. The solenoid gets activated when the key is on and shaft exists in a withdrawn position. But when the key is off, the solenoid gets deactivated and shaft squeezes out to move the wedge against treadle arm and against vehicle brake pedal solenoid holding member and medium floorboard surface. This helps to prevent the brake pedal handle to move from its depressed position. This mechanism can be retrofitted in the new manufacture or to the existing carts. It helps to avoid the need of a parking brake. The mechanism can also be used for the floorboard installation.
