The Golf Cart batteries are many times scrapped before they are worn out in reality. They reach a time when they will not accept a charge or will not keep the charge for a long time. This means that they will not be working anymore. The reason is the occurrence of sulphation. When the battery is used frequently or when it is kept without use for a long period of time, the process called sulphation occurs. Sulphation is the deposit forming on the internal plates of the battery thereby covering the most useful parts of the battery, which generates electricity. When this happens the batter stops accepting charge and the owner will be forced to go for a new one. Now a new method for reconditioning worn out Golf Cart batteries has been invented. This is carried out using a combination of a battery chemical additive and a special charging system designed to break the sulphation deposit and bring back the life of the battery. The process takes only a few days.  As golf cart batteries are very expensive, it is worth trying the spent ones to recondition for a much smaller cost. Thus, the batteries can be kept in service for a much longer time, thereby saving customer money.
